Thread Group is thrilled to congratulate our liaison partner, the DALI Alliance, for their outstanding achievements at the recent 2025 LFI Innovation Awards during LightFair in Las Vegas. DALI+ earned two top honors:
- Category Award: Best Control Enabling Technology
- Overall Award: The Design Excellence Award
Presented on May 6, 2025, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the awards highlighted “the most groundbreaking developments in the lighting and controls industry,” with DALI+ recognized among only 11 category winners and 4 overall award recipients.
The judging panel recognized DALI+ as “a big step forward, extending DALI’s benefits to wireless networks”—a testament to its advanced functionality, scalability, and interoperability. Paul Drosihn, General Manager of the DALI Alliance, also stated,
“These awards validate our vision for a smarter, more connected lighting ecosystem without sacrificing interoperability or compliance with global standards.”

These awards were judged by luminaries from both the Illuminating Engineering Society and the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD). The IALD is a globally respected organization advancing excellence in lighting design, championing innovation, sustainability, and human-centric solutions in commercial, architectural, and urban lighting.
Recognition from such a prestigious body underscores the critical role of standardized, interoperable technology like DALI+, aligning perfectly with Thread Group’s mission.
